Twelve cardiac symptoms of importance

Although incidence and morality of heart disease greatly reduce recently, heart disease is the main disease causing deaths. One of reasons that heart diseases lead deaths is that people don't get timely treatment when cardiac symptoms occur. The other reason is that cardiac symptoms aren't always serious and obvious. Thus, some early cardiac symptoms are easily neglected, thereby to cause deaths.

As some symptoms can't be easily considered as the warning signs of heart disease, thus people always don't pat more importance to these symptoms regardless of physicians' advice of attaching importance to these warning signs. These symptoms aren't directly connected with heart disease, such as stomach pain, muscle pain and other diseases. Thus, we should understand the following symptoms that may be warning signs of heart disease.

One: anxious heart disease could cause serious anxiety or fears of deaths. Most survivors of heart diseases have an experience of shock.

Two: chest pain is the typical symptom causing heart disease. But not all the cardiac patients have symptoms of chest pain. The chest pain caused by heart disease is mainly confined to the left part of the sternum and female patients will feel burning sensation in chest rather than chest tightness or chest pain.

Three: Persistent cough or asthma caused by pulmonary edema is warning sign of heart failure. Sometimes, patients with heart failure may suffer from hemoptysis and expectoration.

Four: dizzy heart disease could cause vertigo and loss of consciousness. These symptoms caused by arrhythmia may have potential risks.

Five: frequent fatigue may be caused during the attack of heart disease of fatigue, especially for women.

Six: Nausea and loss of appetite may have gastrointestinal symptoms during attack of heart disease. Abdominal swelling caused by heart disease could interfere with appetite.

Seven: during heart attack caused by pain, the pain can be extended from chest to shoulder, arm, elbow, back, neck, jaw or stomach. Sometimes heart attack may cause transient pains in other body parts rather than in chest. Male patients with heart disease often feel pains in the left arm and female patients feel pains in arms or shoulder.

Eight: Rapid or irregular pulse may be warning signs of heart disease, heart failure or arrhythmia, especially accompanying with weakness, dizziness and shortness of breath. If not promptly treated, these symptoms may cause serious arrhythmia, heart failure, stroke or sudden death.

Nine: shortness of breath may a sign of heart disease or heart failure. Some patients with heart disease may have shortness of breath rather than chest pain and stuffiness. During heart attack, shortness of breath often accompanies the occurrence of chest pain or may occur before chest discomfort.

Ten: Sudden sweat is a common symptom of heart attack, especially for the patients who can't stop sweating even sitting in a chair.

Eleven: Heart failure caused by swelling can not only lead effusion and abdominal swelling of foot, ankle, leg and abdomen, but also lead sudden increase in body weight and loss of appetite.

Twelve: weakness occurs during the period of heart attack. Some people will have severe and unexplained weakness. In extreme cases, some patients feel too weak to pick a piece of paper by fingers.
